Ms Rebekah Wilson, Exercise Medicine Research Institute at Edith Cowan University

Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is a common treatment for prostate cancer. One of the many possible side effects of this treatment is weight gain. Lifestyle changes utilising exercise and diet have been demonstrated as safe and result in improved health, physical function, and quality of life for cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to assess the benefitas of an exercise and diet programme designed to induce weight loss.

Ethics approval was granted by Edith Cowan University Human Research Ethics Committee.
