ProsD: Nutritional supplements for men with prostate cancer

Summary of project

The ProsD clinical trial is currently recruiting men with prostate cancer who are on Active Surveillance from NSW, Victoria and Queensland. The aim of this phase II trial is to test the benefits of a nutritional supplement in preventing prostate cancer progression. Men who join this trial will be asked to take a nutritional supplement every month whilst on active surveillance.

Who is this study for?

  • Men who have been diagnosed with localised prostate cancer, who are on active surveillance
  • Who are in either NSW, Victoria or Queensland
  • Are 18 years of age or over

Ethics approval

Ethics approval for this trial has been granted by Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee.
